Open Door Policy earns a place in Machinery & Production Engineering magazine

At Anglia Circuits Engineering Ltd, we've always prided ourselves on our open door policy, with customers welcome to call in and see us at anytime. This has just been reaffirmed by a two page article in Machinery & Production Engineering magazine. December 2003

The addition of two new machines

An XYZ SM2000 milling machine with a Prototrak CNC control and an Ann Yang DY1000 lathe with a Fagor 8055 CNC control with a chucking capacity of 1000mm diameter.

Feburary 2006

The addition of a Fanuc Alpha-1c EDM machine

A Fanuc Alpha-1c EDM Wire Erosion machine with Fanuc 16w control, which will allow the machining of intricate components. This machine has been modified to accept components of 600mm high.

September 2006

The addition of a Dugard Eagle 1600 machining centre

A Dugard Eagle 1600 machining centre with 24 tool station, which will allow the machining of larger components.

A BNC 4040 with Fagor 8055i CNC Control with a chuck capacity of 1276mmø

Graham Fenn & Alan Shaw take over as Managing Directors

On 31st March 2008, Anglia Circuits Engineering Ltd was delighted to officially announce the appointment of Graham Fenn and Alan Shaw as Directors of the company. Graham and Alan have served the company as production supervisors and have 27 years combined experience with Anglia Circuits Engineering. They strive to ensure the high levels of commitment to its customers as well as the exceptionally high quality of work produced for them. Graham and Alan are also looking forward to developing the business even further.

Graham and Alan take the business over from Rock Loveday who was Managing Director for the past 6 years and had served the company since 1989. Rock had taken the business over from it’s founders John and Brenda Pilbeam in May 2002.

June 2009

Anglia Circuits Engineering becomes Anglia CNC Engineering

On 30th June 2009 Anglia Circuits Engineering officially changed it's name to Anglia CNC Engineering. This is something that Graham and Alan were keen to do in order to promote the business into new customers without the misleading word "circuits" in the company name. The company still retains the same registration number along with all existing accreditations.

February 2010

Anglia CNC Engineering attains BS EN9100:2003

This world renowned aerospace accreditation will run alongside their existing BS EN9001:2008 accreditation which has been held by the company since 1990.
